On 24th January 2018, MRI has successfully held the 2017 Academic Annual Conference at Zhongnan Hospital meeting room. More than 200 professors and students of MRI attended. The MRI director Dr. Hong-bing Shu first delivered the opening speech, he briefed all the working results obtained in the past year and looked forward a bright future of MRI . Finally, Dr. Shu encouraged all our faculty and students to work together, concentrating on scientific research to solidly nurture and make better achievements.

On the conference, all 15 PIs shared their major discoveries in recent research work and presented future work plans. Our students showed great enthusiasm, raising varies of questions to join into the discussion. The convening of this annual meeting greatly created opportunities to exchange ideas among these research groups and created a harmonious academic atmosphere.

In the future, Medical Research Institute will hold a regular annual seminar to create an academic platform for teachers and students to exchange scientific research achievements.
