East Lake Biomedical Grand Lecture NO.25

On September 18, 2019, at the invitation of Dr. Hong-bing Shu, Prof. Jae U. Jung from the University of Southern California paid a visit to Medical Research Institute and attended East Lake Biomedical Grand  Lecture (Series NO.25), giving a report for "Negative regulation of inflammation".


Prof. Jae U. Jung mainly introduced about how the body's immune system negatively regulates the inflammatory response by targeting the important signaling proteins TRIM9 or SerpinB1 to inhibit NF-kB activation or procaspase activity.


Prof. Jae U. Jung is an outstanding expert in the fields of virology and immunology. He is committed to basic and clinical medical research, focusing on major diseases affecting human health (including AIDS, tuberculosis, influenza, autoimmune diseases and cancer) and has carried out systematic and in-depth work and achieved a series of important original results.
