研究领域

  RNA结合蛋白在基因转录后的剪接加工、修饰、转运、细胞定位、稳定性、翻译和降解等生物学过程中发挥经典的RNA调控功能;然而,我们近期的一系列研究发现RNA结合蛋白还是一类新型转录因子,它们通过RNA依赖的染色质相互作用直接参与转录调控,开辟了RNA结合蛋白功能研究的新领域[Xiao et al. 2019 Cell;Van Nostrand et al. 2020 Nature; Ji et al. 2013 Cell; Wei et al. 2016 Mol Cell]。本实验室主要采用多组学技术(ChIP-seq、GRO-seq、CLIP-seq、RNA-seq、Hi-C和GRID-seq等),系统地研究RNA结合蛋白的RNA调控、转录与染色质调控功能和相关疾病的发生机制。
