本实验室的长期兴趣是结合发育生物学和遗传学/表观遗传学的基础研究,应用于多能干细胞分化模型来揭示疾病发生的分子机制,关注点是组蛋白修饰、长非编码RNA以及细胞代谢层面的细胞命运决定的分子调控;同时以此获得功能性细胞用于再生医学。研究手段主要包括人多能干细胞建立和维持、定向诱导分化(内胚层和胰腺方向),基因组编辑以及组织工程。目前受国家自然科学基金委重大研究计划培育项目和面上项目、科技部重点研发专项项目支持。
